Jeff Rozelle has a diverse work experience in the education sector. Jeff began their career as a Science Teacher at Cincinnati Public Schools from August 1996 to June 2005. Jeff then moved on to Syracuse University, where they served as an Assistant Professor of Science Education from August 2009 to May 2013. Since May 2013, they have been associated with the Knowles Teacher Initiative, initially serving as a Senior Program Officer for Teacher Development. From May 2014 to January 2022, they took on the role of Director for the Teaching Fellows Program. Jeff is currently the President and CEO of the organization, a position they have held since January 2022.

Jeff Rozelle earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Cincinnati in 1996. Jeff then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education from the same university, which they completed in 1997. In 2003, Jeff obtained a Master of Education degree in Secondary Education from Miami University. Finally, they graduated from Michigan State University in 2010 with a Ph.D. in Curriculum, Teaching, and Educational Policy, with a specialization in Science Education.
