Justin Ragland is an experienced educator and leader in the field of science education, currently serving as an IGNITE Teacher Leader Fellow with the Jefferson Parish Public School System and a Teaching Fellow with the Knowles Teacher Initiative. Since July 2018, Justin has been a High School Science Teacher at Patrick F. Taylor Science & Technology Academy, instructing courses such as AP Physics 1, AP Physics C: Mechanics, Physical Science, and Astronomy. Justin's background includes a Master's degree in Secondary Science Education from the University of Mississippi, where previous roles included Graduate Fellow in CMSE and various coaching positions in ice hockey. Additionally, Justin has contributed to student development as a writing tutor at the university level and as a laboratory technician in the private sector.
