Lainey Solomon

Lainey Solomon is an experienced educator and teaching fellow with a strong background in chemistry education. Currently serving as a Teaching Fellow at the Knowles Teacher Initiative since June 2023, Lainey also teaches AP and Honors Chemistry at Cambridge Rindge and Latin School as of August 2024, following a role as a Chemistry Teacher at Westwood High School from June 2023 to June 2024. Lainey's prior experience includes positions as an Organic Chemistry Teaching Assistant, Group Fitness Instructor, and Undergraduate Research Assistant at Brandeis University, as well as a Teaching Fellow at Breakthrough Collaborative, where Lainey led 9th-grade science classes. Lainey holds an Ed.M. in Teaching and Teacher Leadership from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, along with French & Francophone Studies from Brandeis University. Additionally, Lainey has experience in childcare and camp counseling.
