Bhavya Sridhar

Bhavya Sridhar is a data scientist currently employed at Known since September 2021, previously holding the position of Senior Data Analyst. Prior experience includes serving as a doctoral candidate at Cornell University from August 2012 to July 2020, where Bhavya designed and executed experiments related to soil microbiomes and carbon storage. Key accomplishments include generating insights from extensive soil sample data, training machine learning models for soil health prediction, and collaborating on data synthesis for climate models. Bhavya also developed dynamical system models in MATLAB and taught courses in Ecosystem Science. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Microbial Biogeochemistry from Cornell University, a Master of Environmental Science from Yale University, and a B.S. in Economics, Environmental Studies, and Geology from the University of Michigan.
