Andy McGadney

Andy McGadney has an extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Andy currently holds the position of President at Knox College. Prior to this role, they served as Vice President and Dean of Student Advancement at Colby College, where they oversaw DavisConnects and facilitated various campus events. Andy also held the position of Vice President & Secretary of the College at Colby College, where they acted as the principal liaison to the Board of Trustees and implemented strategic initiatives. Earlier in their career, Andy McGadney served as Vice President of University Advancement at Clark University, where they provided leadership for the advancement operation and successfully planned and launched a comprehensive campaign. Andy also worked as a Director of Development at Wesleyan University, contributing to the university's record-setting fundraising effort. Andy McGadney's work experience includes roles such as Account Representative at Otis Elevator and an Intern at INROADS.

Andy McGadney completed their Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from the University of Pennsylvania between 2013 and 2015. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) in Advanced Finance & Management from Columbia | SIPA from 2004 to 2006. In 1992, Andy attained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Sociology & African American Studies from Wesleyan University.
