Lawler leads the team charged with transforming the 100-year-old automaker by bringing to market self-driving and other new mobility services globally. In addition, he is the company’s point person for the partnerships with Silicon Valley. Lawler began his 30-year career with Ford in the company’s Finance team and has worked in North America, Europe, and Asia. He has led teams responsible for key transformation and growth initiatives, from the company’s growth in China to the integration of data analytics and artificial intelligence. Specifically, he has held such pivotal roles as head of Corporate Strategy, Ford corporate controller, chairman, and CEO of Ford China, as well as CFO for Ford Asia Pacific and Africa. Lawler earned an MBA from the University of Iowa.
