Kari Santos, MA, CTRS, ADAC, currently serves as the Assistant to the Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs and the Director of the Library at Knox College since July 2023. With extensive experience as a professional speaker and educator since 2014, Kari has presented on various topics related to therapeutic recreation at national and state conferences, including the National ADA Symposium and the Iowa Inclusive Therapeutic Recreation Association. Prior roles include Vocational Rehabilitation Assistant for the State of Iowa, Activity Director at Stirlingshire of Coralville, and Life Enrichment Coordinator at Garnett Place Retirement Community, among others. Kari holds a Master's degree in Therapeutic Recreation/Recreational Therapy from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor's degree in Natural Resource Recreation and Tourism from Winona State University.
