Van Walker

Van Walker is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in library services and the arts. Currently serving as the Sights & Sounds Manager at Knox County Public Library since July 2015, Van Walker manages the audiovisual department and develops film and music collections. Previous roles at the library include Business Services Manager and Reference Librarian, with responsibilities ranging from providing business reference services to managing government documents and teaching computer classes. As a self-employed artist since 1991, Van Walker has exhibited notable works in various galleries and shows across several cities. Van Walker holds a Master’s degree in Information Science and a Bachelor's degree in Fine/Studio Arts, both from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.
