Desirée Jones, Ed.S, currently serves as Principal at Knox County Schools, a position held since July 2011, following roles as Assistant Principal and Curriculum Principal. Previous experience includes leading the 8th Grade at Vine Middle Magnet School and serving as an Interim Administrator during a transitional period. Desirée participated in the Leadership Academy as a Fellow, and contributed as a TAP Master Teacher at Austin-East High School. Prior to administrative roles, Desirée was the English Department Chair at Hardin Valley Academy and taught English, Journalism, and Creative Writing at South-Doyle High School. Educational qualifications include an Ed.S in Educational Administration and Supervision, a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature, all from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
