Sam Hart, known as "The Hart of Knoxville," has extensive experience in technology and manufacturing consulting, currently serving at the Knoxville Chamber since 2006. Hart has been a Team Leader at the National Institute for Metalworking Skills since June 1996 and was a Benchmarking Team Leader at the US Navy Best Manufacturing Practices Center of Excellence from 1992 to 2008, where benchmarking surveys were conducted across various sectors. Additionally, Hart worked as a Tech Transfer Coordinator at Lockheed Martin Energy Systems from 1993 to 2002, contributing to technology transfer, technical assistance, and business development for the Oak Ridge National Laboratory under the US Department of Energy.
