Substitute Bass at Knoxville Symphony Orchestra

Cassidy Morgan is an accomplished double bassist with extensive experience in orchestral and freelance performance. Currently serving as Principal Double Bass for both the Sioux City Symphony Orchestra and the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra, Cassidy also maintains a vibrant freelance career and teaches double bass. As a substitute musician, Cassidy has performed with several prestigious orchestras, including the Minnesota Orchestra, The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, and the Louisville Orchestra. Educational achievements include a Doctor of Musical Arts and Performer’s Diploma in Double Bass from the University of Maryland and Indiana University Bloomington, respectively, along with a Master of Music from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Music from the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music.
