Jan Kooistra

Jan Kooistra is a seasoned maritime professional with extensive experience in various roles within the industry. Currently serving as Plaatsvervangend Schipper and Technical Superintendent at KNRM since June 2009, Jan has a demonstrated history of leadership and technical expertise. Previously, roles included Superintendent at Rederij Doeksen B.V. from August 2007 to April 2013 and HWTK at Baggerbedrijf de Boer B.V. and van stee survey and Supply, where Jan worked from August 2000 to August 2007 and March 1997 to August 2000, respectively. Jan started a career in the maritime sector as a 3rd engineer with Stolt-Nielsen Limited from November 1996 to August 1997. Jan holds a Marof engineering degree from NHL Hogeschool, completed in 1996.
