Wolfgang Werner

Wolfgang Werner currently serves as a Senior Sustainability Consultant at KO2 Consulting since October 2023, focusing on sustainability certification administration and consulting. As President of doubleudoubleu, inc. since January 2022, Wolfgang assists project teams with sustainability and certification objectives while also teaching related courses. Previously, as an Instructor at Urban Green Council from November 2015 to December 2024, Wolfgang taught the New York City Energy Conservation Code to architects and engineers. Wolfgang held roles at Urban Fabrick, Inc. from January 2015 to August 2021 as President & CEO, managing the consultancy's operations. Additionally, Wolfgang has experience as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the New York Institute of Technology, teaching environmental systems, and as a Research Fellow at the Building Energy Exchange. Prior positions include various leadership roles at Thornton Tomasetti from June 1999 to May 2014, focusing on building sustainability, as well as earlier architectural design roles. Wolfgang holds a Master's Degree in Architecture from Pratt Institute and a Diplom Ingenieur Architekt from Technische Universität Berlin.
