Jorge Torres Montijano

Jorge Torres Montijano has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Jorge is currently working as a Senior Cyber Risk and Compliance Manager at Koa Health since July 2022. Prior to this, from April 2021 to July 2022, they worked as an independent internal control and systems audit consultant.

Jorge has also gained valuable experience at Banco Sabadell, where they served as an IT Risk & Compliance Manager from May 2020 to August 2020. In this role, they supervised the management of technological risk performed by the systems personnel. Their responsibilities included analyzing historical data to identify gaps in risk management and coordinating risk monitoring with other locations within the group.

Before joining Banco Sabadell, Jorge worked at Grant Thornton Spain as a Senior Supervisor in IT Audit from October 2018 to May 2020. At Grant Thornton Spain, they were responsible for conducting IT assurance for financial audits, including risk analysis of business processes and identification and testing of controls for clients.

In these roles, they performed assurance activities to ensure the accuracy of financial statements and tested IT controls, both for national and international clients.

Jorge started their career at Unilever, where they gained experience as an Assistant Financial and Customer Development Operations Intern from July 2014 to March 2015 and October 2013 to July 2014, respectively. In these roles, they supported the finance department with financial reporting, internal controls, and provided IT support to various departments within the company.

Jorge Torres Montijano completed their Licenciatura en Administracion y Dirección de Empresas at Universidad de Jaén from 2008 to 2014. In 2012-2013, they pursued an Erasmus program in International Business School at Hochschule Furtwangen. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2008, they completed Formación Superior Profesional Administración de Sistemas Informáticos at IES VIRGEN DEL CARMEN.
