Raúl S. has a diverse work experience in the field of IT engineering and devops.

Raúl is currently working as a Senior Devops Engineer at Koa Health since January 2021.

Prior to this, Raúl worked at Claranet Spain as a Cloud SysOps / DevOps from July 2018 to January 2021.

Before joining Claranet Spain, Raúl worked under their own company name, Cutting Edge Technologies, SLU, where they served as a System and Network Administrator and Lead Developer. During this time, they provided services such as administration of Linux and Windows Server machines, infrastructure design and scaling, and optimization and scaling for highly concurrent services. Raúl worked at this company from April 2013 to December 2017.

Raúl also has experience working as a Freelance IT Engineer. From September 2008 to March 2013, they worked as a System and Network Engineer as well as a Software Developer. Raúl'sresponsibilities included system administration of Linux and Windows Server machines, infrastructure deployment and scaling, and network administration and topology design for websites, databases, and their public/private interconnections.

Raúl S. obtained their Ingeniería Técnica en Informática de Sistemas degree in Informática, comunicaciones y servicios de asistencia from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Raúl attended this institution from 2006 to 2012. In 2011, Raúl also briefly studied at the Eindhoven University of Technology for a course in Ingeniería informática.

In addition to their formal education, Raúl has obtained several certifications. Raúl is an AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, AWS Certified Developer - Associate, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional. These certifications were obtained from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2019, 2020, and 2022.

Raúl also holds certifications from Cisco as a Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA Routing and Switching) and Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA Security). These certifications were acquired in 2017.

Furthermore, Raúl has participated in various online courses related to cloud computing. Raúl has completed courses such as Cloud Computing Applications, Part 1: Cloud Systems and Infrastructure, Cloud Computing Applications, Part 2: Big Data and Applications in the Cloud, Cloud Computing Concepts, Part 1, Cloud Computing Concepts: Part 2, and Cloud Networking. These courses were taken on the Coursera platform, although specific completion dates are not provided.
