Gary Smeltzer

Gary Smeltzer is a seasoned logistics and transportation professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Co-Owner at Koala Insulation since November 2023, Gary previously held the position of Director of Transportation at Comoto Holdings, Inc. for over a decade, where strategic development for finished product movements and quality control specifications for foreign-sourced merchandise were key responsibilities. Prior experience as Global Logistics Manager at JELD-WEN, Inc. involved managing a $60 million international logistics budget and overseeing corporate ocean activities. Earlier roles included Wood Fiber Sales Support Manager and Group Manager at JELD-WEN, as well as Production Supervisor at Timber Products, highlighting a strong background in production management and employee training.
