Ashlyn Sandler

Ashlyn Sandler has a diverse work experience in the fields of software engineering, web development, and IT consulting. Ashlyn currently works at Koala as a Senior Software Engineer, holding previous positions as a Software Engineer at the same company. Prior to that, Ashlyn was a Senior Web Developer at Flying Hippo Brand + Digital. Ashlyn also has experience as a Freelance Web Developer, taking on various web design projects independently. In addition, Ashlyn worked as an IT Consultant and co-owner at Theseus, Inc., providing system and networking consulting to local small businesses. Ashlyn also has a background in the retail industry, having worked at Starbucks as a Shift Supervisor and Assistant Store Manager.

Ashlyn Sandler attended Kirkwood Community College from 2014 to 2016, where they obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Web Technologies. During their time at Kirkwood, they also earned several certificates in Database Technologies, Graphic Design, .NET Software Development, and Web Development. Prior to attending Kirkwood, Ashlyn studied Japanese Language and Literature at the University of Iowa from 2006 to 2009, although it is unclear if they completed a degree in this field.
