Laura Robertson

Laura Robertson has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Laura is currently working at Koala as an Engineering Manager since February 2023. Prior to this, they held positions at Koala as a Senior Software Engineer from July 2022 to February 2023, and as a Software Engineer from April 2022 to July 2022.

Before joining Koala, Laura worked at Textio as a Software Engineer from July 2018 to September 2020. Laura also gained experience as a Software Development Engineer Intern at Amazon from January 2018 to July 2018, where they worked on an enterprise-scale development environment and learned about the complete customer experience.

Laura's professional journey started at Ada Developers Academy in August 2017, where they underwent an immersive program to learn practical tools and computer science fundamentals. Prior to their career in software engineering, Laura worked as a Graphic Designer in freelance capacity from 2012 to 2018. Laura handled brand development, including logo design, social media content, catalog design, and promotional material for online and print publications.

Before entering the tech industry, Laura worked as a Receiving Manager at Anthropologie from November 2009 to March 2012. In this role, they managed stockroom processes, including shipping and receiving, organization, cleanliness, inventory counts, and customer satisfaction.
