Andy Davis

Andy Davis has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Andy co-founded Koan Health in 2012 and served as Senior Software Engineer and later as Sr Software Engineer / Cofounder. At Koan Health, they worked on Population Analytics and Patient Management software, using technologies such as Ruby on Rails, Javascript/Coffeescript, Bootstrap/CSS, Go, Mongo, Postgres, Redis, Docker, AWS and Heroku.

Before that, they worked as a Senior Architect at Third Corner, LLC from 2016 to 2018. In this role, they served as a consulting software architect for various clients, developing software based on their business requirements.

From 2008 to 2011, Andy served as an Architect/Developer at MedAssets, where they contributed to product and common software platform development, utilizing relational databases and providing software components in various forms.

Prior to that, they held positions as Senior Software Engineer at FSI International from 2006 to 2008, and Senior Software Engineer at Objective Solutions Inc. from 2000 to 2006. At Objective Solutions Inc., they worked as a consulting software engineer for clients in telecommunications, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, and desktop software industries, specializing in C#/.NET development and core media architecture.

Andy started their career in 1990 as an Ensign - Nuclear Power in the US Navy. Following their military service, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Accugraph from 1994 to 1996, where they developed software for managing physical communications infrastructure, leading the adoption of C++ and Object Oriented Development.

Before that, they were a Member of Technical Staff at Mevatec from 1992 to 1994, and prior to that, they served as a Product Architect at Eastman Kodak - Health Group from 1996 to 2000, where they oversaw technical efforts and introduced product and process innovations in the development of near real-time software for managing digital medical imagery.

Overall, Andy Davis has a strong background in software engineering, with experience in various industries and a proven track record of developing innovative solutions to meet business requirements.

Andy Davis attended the University of Maryland from 1987 to 1990, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
