Briese Abbott

Briese Abbott is an experienced professional in the music and arts industries, currently serving as Head of Creative Services and Director of Synchronisation for Kobalt Music in Australia and New Zealand since May 2017. Abbott has held the position of Senior Synchronisation Manager at Kobalt Music and contributes as an alternate Board Member for AMPAL, an association for music publishers in the region. Additional roles include serving as a judge for the 2024 Professional Development Awards at APRA AMCOS and previously managing a series of artist management and publicity companies, including Umbrella Music and Spark And Opus. Abbott’s extensive involvement includes being a Peer Assessor for the Australia Council for the Arts and a Board Member for the Association of Artist Managers.
