João Pereira

João Pereira is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in data solutions and royalties management. At Kobalt Music since July 2019, João scaled the area from 1 to 4 teams, modernized royalty processing, and transitioned systems to a scalable cloud-based architecture. Previous roles include Engineering Manager at Callsign, Technical Team Lead at Gamesys, and Java Server Developer at Greentube. João has a strong background in backend system development, including critical user services for the online gambling sector. Early career experience includes software engineering roles at EF Tecnologias and Impresa Serviços, and an internship at the European Space Agency. João holds a Master’s degree in Information Systems and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and completed an MBA Essentials course at The London School of Economics.
