Steve Dear

Steve Dear has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Steve started their career in 1998 as an Apprentice at BAE Systems, where they gained experience in software development. Steve then worked their way up to roles such as Software Tools Engineer and Software Configuration Engineer before becoming a Software Engineer. During their time at BAE Systems, Steve successfully resolved software defects and volunteered to rectify infected PCs.

In 2010, Steve moved to Aimia Inc, where they took on the role of IT Change and Configuration Manager. Steve was responsible for improving change, release, and configuration management policies and processes. Steve also successfully migrated the team to Atlassian Jira and rolled out the use of Subversion Edge.

Most recently, Steve joined Kobalt Music in 2017 as a DevOps Engineer. Specific details about their achievements in this role are not provided.
