Long Mai has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Long started their career in 1996 at Video News as a Manager, where they worked until 2002. From there, they ventured into owning their own businesses. Long owned A Plus Nail from 2000 to 2002 and Asian House & Sushi Bar from 2001 to 2005. Long then transitioned into the restaurant industry, joining Kobe Japanese Steakhouse in 2010 as a Sushi Chef. Long quickly moved up the ranks, taking on roles such as Hospitality Manager, General Manager, District Manager, Director of Operations, and New Project & Training Director. Currently, Long holds the position of Chief Operational Officer at Kobe Japanese Steakhouse.

Long Mai attended Edgewater High School from 1989 to 1992. Afterward, they enrolled at UCF from 1992 to 1998, where they studied International Business and Computer Science.
