Olweny Nicholas

Olweny Nicholas has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities. Their most recent position was as Head of Finance at Kobo360, where they began in October 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Finance Manager at the same company starting from October 2019. Olweny also worked as an Accounting Consultant at KAFS Advisory Limited from May 2019 to October 2019. Before that, they served as an Accountant at DSV - Global Transport and Logistics from September 2015 to May 2019. Olweny's earlier roles include being an Operations Accountant at Transeast Uganda Limited from February 2013 to August 2015, and working as an Accountant at Kyambogo University from June 2011 to July 2012. Their earliest experience was as a Helper at Steel Works Limited, where they worked from November 2006 to August 2008.

Olweny Nicholas completed their Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance at Kyambogo University from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they attended Our Lady of Good Counsel Gayaza from 2005 to 2006 for their UACE qualification. Olweny also attended Kisubi Minor Seminary from 2000 to 2004 and obtained their UCE certification. Additionally, they hold a certification in ICPAU Level II from the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda.
