Michael Krela

Michael Krela is a Global Product Manager for Mass Transfer at Koch Engineered Solutions, where they have been employed since 2024. With over 15 years of experience in the design and fabrication of Mass Transfer equipment for the refining, gas, and chemical industries, Krela specializes in equipment design, process simulation, and complex tower revamps. They managed a diverse team of eighteen professionals, comprising process and mechanical engineers, project managers, and 3D designers. Previously, Krela served as an Engineering Manager and Senior Process Designer at Koch-Glitsch from 2004 to 2017 and was a Sessional Instructor at the University of Toronto in 2018. They hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, earned in 2004.
