Marcos Afonso

Marcos Afonso is an experienced sales leader with a strong background in the oilfield chemical business and a proven track record in managing sales teams and strategies across multiple divisions. Currently serving as the Latin America Sales Leader at Koch-Glitsch and Regional Sales Manager at Koch Heat Transfer, Marcos has been integral in driving sales and executing business strategies since 2019. Previous roles include Sales Leader at Koch Engineered Solutions and Sales Manager at Nalco Champion, where responsibilities included overseeing business operations and leading teams through transitions and mergers. Marcos holds a Post Degree in Project Management from Villanova University, an MBA in Oil & Gas Business from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidade Federal Fluminense.
