Byron Rich

Byron Rich serves as the Director of Corporate Security at Koch Industries since July 2013, where responsibilities include leading the Physical Security Program for a diverse portfolio operating in 18 countries, supporting over 20,000 employees. Previously, Byron held the position of Regional Security Manager, providing physical security support along the Atlantic Coast and engaging in activities such as risk assessments, security improvement initiatives, contract negotiations, and compliance assistance. Prior experience includes working as a Safety Engineer at Georgia Pacific LLC, where Byron provided safety and health leadership at a pulp and paper mill. Byron Rich holds a Master's of Science in Occupational Safety, Security, and Emergency Management and a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections, both from Eastern Kentucky University.
