Anshuman Sahijpal

Anshuman Sahijpal is a Partner in the Gurgaon office of the Firm. He is involved in the transactional and private equity practice of the Firm. His practice areas include mergers, acquisitions, foreign investments, private equity and securities laws including cross-border financing and regulatory approvals.

Anshuman has vast experience and expertise in negotiating and preparing investment documents. He has advised multinational clients on regulatory and compliance issues and all aspects of structuring inbound investments, due diligence and investor rights. He advises clients on issues relating to foreign direct investment policy, foreign exchange laws and securities law. Anshuman has hands on experience in conducting investor due diligences, business restructuring and compliance audits.

Anshuman regularly advises foreign investors on all aspects of Indian investments including but not limited to advice on investor rights, exit options, windfall mechanism and regulatory issues.

He has substantial experience in advising clients from diverse sectors including but not limited to automotive, energy, financial services, infrastructure, oil and gas, pharmaceutical, real estate, retail and technology.
