Birendar Singh

Birendar Singh is a Senior partner in the Delhi office of the Firm. He is a key member of the Government Affairs practice and Alternate Dispute Resolution group.

Mr. Singh has vast experience of dealing with ministries and departments at the Central as well as State level and regularly assists the Firm and its clients in making effective representations and obtaining necessary clarifications that often lead to resolving commercial, policy and regulatory hurdles faced by the industry.

In his over 30 years of experience, he has advised companies in diverse sectors including Hospitality & Tourism, Construction & Infrastructure, Real Estate, Regulatory and Trade, Technology, Media & Telecommunications.

Mr. Singh has also handled many high-stake cases of international and domestic arbitration which have included defending one of the largest Indian public sector undertakings (PSU) in a high-stake arbitration instituted by a consortium of foreign and domestic contractors; representing a leading telecom infrastructure company in high stake arbitration against a leading telecom company in India; successfully concluding arbitration proceedings for one of the largest information technology companies against a leading university in the National Capital Region, India.
