Deepti Pareekshit Bhat

Deepti Bhat is a Principal Associate with the Bangalore office of the Firm.

Deepti has considerable exposure in setting up business operations for various multinational companies and in handling their corporate compliance work on a regular basis. Her resource areas are incorporation, conducting corporate due diligences, suggesting of measures to comply with the legal frame work including advise on compounding of the non-compliances, etc. She has experience in representing various companies in IT and manufacturing sectors as well.

Deepti is also a second lead and key member of the amalgamations and mergers practice in the firm’s Bangalore office.

She has substantial experience in mergers of multinational companies including mergers at multi state level with the deal size extending to US $ 200 million.

Deepti is a member of the firm’s reconstruction practice desk and has considerable experience in advising companies on options available for closure of business operations and winding up or liquidation. Deepti also has a strong exposure to all kinds of regulatory matters, which includes regular liaison with various regulatory authorities to obtain statutory approvals and advising on various compliances to be met by the companies under Company Law, Labour Law, Foreign Exchange Regulations and IT related laws.
