Gagan is a Partner in the Firm’s New Delhi office. He practices primarily in the area of general corporate and commercial laws, labour & employment laws, international trade laws and customs laws.

Gagan has over 15 years of professional experience in advising domestic and multinational corporations (MNC’s) on devising the right entry strategy/entity type in line with their business needs. His representation includes formation of legal entities, drafting and negotiating complex joint venture agreements, corporate shareholders' agreements, asset purchase and business transfer agreements and other arrangements between equity owners (e.g., buy-sell arrangements), insolvency and dissolution of legal entities. Gagan is actively involved in strategy formation on shareholder’s disputes handling and resolution.

Gagan routinely advises domestic and several fortune 500 MNC clients on critical employment law issues from a practical and business perspective. He has extensive experience in advising clients on diversified issues ranging from employee discrimination, sexual and other forms of harassment, payment of minimum and overtime wages, retrenchment and lay-offs, enforceability of non-compete, confidentiality and trade secret covenants, employee data transfer and protection, etc. He assists clients in conducting employment law audits, structuring agreements such as employment contracts, termination and settlement agreements, compensation arrangements and benefit plans, etc.

In the area of international trade laws, Gagan has given advice and represented MNCs in the anti-dumping investigations initiated against them by the Indian authorities. He advises MNCs on issues relating to the import and export of goods and services.
