Alexandra McCullough-Garcia

Alexandra McCullough-Garcia is an experienced editor at Kodansha USA, Inc. since September 2022, and a freelance translator specializing in Japanese manga and light novels since December 2017. At The Tokyo Shimbun from 2012 to December 2017, Alexandra served as a news reporter covering significant events, including the United Nations Security Council, while conducting interviews and translating articles. Alexandra also held the position of Project GO Grant Administrator at Boston University from 2011 to 2012, overseeing a Department of Defense grant for critical language study scholarships. Alexandra earned a double major in Japanese Language and Literature and Psychology from Boston University between 2009 and 2011, having previously attended the University of Arizona from 2007 to 2009.
