Simar Virk

Simar Virk is a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Kodiak, with prior experience as a Mechanical Engineer at Pivotal, where involvement included the design and development of the BlackFly and Helix platforms. At Peel Plastic Products Ltd., Simar served as a Continuous Improvement Engineer, implementing design projects for enhanced manufacturing processes. As a Mechanical Engineer for the University of Toronto Formula Racing team, Simar utilized SolidWorks and ANSYS to redesign the vehicle's suspension system, integrating carbon fiber and improving strength. Additionally, Simar founded Pillar 28, a startup focused on producing 3D printers for non-hobbyist markets. Simar holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto and an International Baccalaureate Diploma.
