Aimee Williams

Aimee Williams is a seasoned professional with diverse experience in management and educational design. Currently serving as the Manager for KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH since May 2023, Aimee previously held the position of Executive Director at DISCOVER KODIAK from July 2017 to May 2023, overseeing the local convention and visitors bureau. Aimee's background includes a role as a Senior Instructional Designer at L3, where responsibilities involved creating online education models and evaluation systems for the US Coast Guard Training Center. Additionally, Aimee worked as a Finance Specialist for the Children's Surgical Centre in Cambodia, managing non-profit finances in collaboration with healthcare providers and donors. Aimee's military service includes an officer role in the US Coast Guard from 1992 to 2004, following graduation from the Coast Guard Academy. Aimee holds a Master of Science in Human Resources Development from the University of Texas at Tyler and a Bachelor of Science in Management from the US Coast Guard Academy.
