Jordan Smail

Jordan Smail has a diverse range of work experience in the accounting field. They began their career as an Accounting Assistant at Craig V. Castanos CPA in 2012, where they organized client source documents, processed accounts receivable and payable, and completed tax returns for filing. In 2013, they worked as a Tax Preparer at Joyce Polokoff Smail CPA, preparing tax returns and managing business records. From 2014 to 2017, Jordan served as an Accounts Payable Manager at Rockman Et Al, handling full-cycle accounts payable, financial reporting, and journal entries. They then joined Kodiak Sciences in 2017, starting as a Staff Accountant and steadily progressing to roles such as Senior Accountant, Accounting Supervisor, Accounting Manager, and Senior Accounting Manager. Currently, Jordan holds the position of Associate Director of Accounting at Kodiak Sciences.

From 2007 to 2011, Jordan Smail attended San Diego State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
