Antonio Rubio Romano

Antonio Rubio Romano is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Kognia Sports Intelligence since January 2019. Previously, Antonio served as a Professor at Universitat de Vic – Universitat Central de Catalunya and a Mentor for students in a STEAM education program. Antonio has extensive research experience as a PhD student at IRI and WIDE EYES TECHNOLOGIES, focusing on computer vision and machine learning in fashion data. Academic contributions include a Master Thesis on 3D Pose Estimation and a teaching support role in Numerical Methods at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Antonio holds a PhD in Automática, Robótica y Visión from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, a Master's degree in Automatic Control and Robotics, and an Ingeniero Industrial degree from Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha.
