Fabian Böhnlein has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Fabian started their career in 2011 as a Co-Founder of Wechselfuchs UG, where they managed energy contracts for households. In 2013, they worked as an Associate Consultant (Intern) at Simon-Kucher & Partners and then as an Intern at Jackdaw Capital LLP.

In 2014, Fabian became a Board Member at HackZurich, responsible for the registration and logistics of participants. During the same year, they also joined Teralytics as a Thesis Student, working on spatio-temporal data mining using Java MapReduce and Python.

Fabian continued their journey as a Data Engineer at Autonomous Intelligent Driving GmbH from 2019 to 2020. Fabian built systems for data processing and Machine Learning development, utilizing Python, PySpark, Spark in Scala, Kubernetes, Helm, terraform, Horovod, mlflow, and Lustre.

In 2020, Fabian briefly worked as a Data Engineer at Argo AI. Later that year, they joined Kognic as a Data Engineer, developing analytics and data processing for perception data in autonomous vehicles. In 2021, they transitioned to the role of Product Developer at Kognic.

Throughout their career, Fabian has showcased their expertise in product development, data engineering, and machine learning pipelines. Fabian has experience working with high volumes of perception data, annotation platforms, and advanced analytics pipelines.

Fabian Böhnlein's education history begins in 1998 when they attended Scheffold-Gymnasium and obtained their Abitur, or German high school diploma, in 2007. In 2008, they enrolled at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Business Engineering in 2012. During their undergraduate studies, they also spent a semester at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, specializing in Industrial Engineering and Management.

Following their bachelor's degree, Fabian pursued further education at KIT and obtained their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Business Engineering in 2014. Throughout their educational journey, they actively sought international experiences. In 2010, Fabian participated in an exchange semester at the Singapore Management University, focusing on Finance. Additionally, in 2013, they attended Tecnológico de Monterrey, where they engaged in studies related to Spanish and Internacional Economics.
