Oscar Petersson

Oscar Petersson started their work experience as a Consultant at HandelsConsulting in April 2011. Oscar then moved on to work as an IT Consultant at Viktoria Institute from June to August 2011. From May 2011 to May 2013, they served as a Board Member at Chalmers Studentkårs Restaurang Lindholmen AB. In May 2012, they also took on the role of Patent Engineer at Volvo Trucks for a few months.

In 2012, Oscar became the Operational Project Leader at CHARM - Chalmers Student Association Career Fair, and held this position until May 2013. Later, they joined Ericsson in February 2013 as an Intern at Strategy & Portfolio Management, IPR & Licensing, completing their term in August 2013.

From August 2015 to October 2016, Oscar worked as a Consultant at Arthur D. Little. Oscar then took on a more senior role as Manager Corporate Development at Swegon Group from October 2016 to March 2018.

In January 2018, Oscar Petersson became the Co-Founder and CEO of Kognic, a position they held until September 2020. Oscar continued their involvement with the company as a Co-founder since September 2020.

In October 2020, Oscar assumed the role of Faculty Member at Stellar Capacity, where they are currently working.

Oscar Petersson has an extensive education history. Oscar began their studies at Göteborgs Högere Samskola from 2003 to 2006, where they completed their Senior High School Education with a focus on Science. Oscar went on to attend Chalmers University of Technology from 2007 to 2010, earning their B.Sc in Engineering Physics. In 2010, they briefly attended Simon Fraser University to study Business and Physics. Continuing their education at Chalmers University of Technology, Oscar completed their M.Sc in Intellectual Capital Management (Entrepreneurship and Business Design) from 2011 to 2013. During the same period, they also obtained their Civilingenjör degree in Engineering Physics from Chalmers University of Technology. Additionally, in 2011, they attended the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg to study Business and Economics.
