Ana Casas Cortes

Ana Casas Cortes has a diverse work experience. Ana began their career in 2014 as a Sales Associate at Clinique, where they developed their communication skills. In 2015, they worked as a Health Sciences Student Worker at the University of Nevada, Reno, where they presented to incoming students, handled social media accounts, and served as a peer advisor. In 2017, they worked at Kappa Alpha Theta Headquarters as the Chief Recruitment Officer, coordinating and executing a recruiting event for 500-600 potential new members, managing a budget of $8,000+, and achieving an 80% retention rate. That same year, they also worked as an intern at Hot August Nights, where they prepared event logistics and promoted the philanthropic branch of the non-profit organization. From 2017 to 2019, Ana worked at The Abbi Agency, taking on roles as an Account Executive, Jr. Account Executive, and Account Coordinator, where they were responsible for national, industry, and local media relations for trade and CPG clients. In 2018, they also served as a Conference Chair for Blue Key Honor Society, coordinating a two-day conference for 140 guests from 14 distinct chapters. In 2020, they worked as a Recruiting Coordinator at Patagonia. Most recently, Ana has taken on two roles at Kognity as a People Operations Coordinator and Talent Acquisition Specialist.

Ana Casas Cortes attended Carson High School and obtained their High School Diploma. Ana then went on to the University of Nevada, Reno where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Business-Marketing and Journalism-Strategic Communications, respectively.
