Thomas Vanderbruggen

Thomas Vanderbruggen is a co-founder of Koheron, a position held since December 2014. Prior to this role, Thomas served as a Higher Research Scientist at the National Physical Laboratory from February to November 2015 and worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at ICFO between May 2012 and January 2015, focusing on quantum information with cold atoms and non-classical light, specifically in the project on quantum enhanced magnetometry. Thomas completed a Ph.D. in Physics at Paris-Sud University from 2008 to 2012, where the research centered on the development of non-demolition measurement methods for atom interferometers and the trapping of cold atoms. Thomas also gained valuable experience through internships at NIST and CNRS et Université Paris-Sud. Thomas holds a Master in Science in Physics and Optics from Institut d'Optique Graduate School, completed in 2008.
