Christopher Slivon has extensive experience in quality engineering, having worked at Kohler Co. since April 2004 in various senior roles, including Senior Staff Quality Engineer and Quality Manager for Wisconsin Faucets Operations. Prior to Kohler, Christopher founded and served as President of Green Stone Solutions, LLC, which specialized in fabricating split-stone tile from recycled granite and marble countertop waste until its sale in 2019. Christopher holds multiple degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, including a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.

Kohler was founded in 1873 when John Michael Kohler purchased the Sheboygan Union Iron & Steel Foundry. The firm originally produced cast iron implements for farmers, castings for furniture factories, and ornamental iron pieces. Kohler also owns two golf resorts: Destination Kohler, also known as the American Club in Kohler, Wisconsin, and Destination St. Andrews in Scotland, also known as the Old Course Hotel. Herbert Kohler, grandson of the founder, runs the company.
