Buchi Nwosu

Buchi Nwosu is a business process transformation expert, with over fifteen years’ experience in disruptive process transformation projects covering process optimization and standardization, policy changes, process automation - including Robotics Process Automation (RPA), business continuity and change management.

Buchi started his career as a Trainee Consultant with Don Mitchell & Company Ltd, a management consultancy firm, before joining Oceanic Bank Plc (now Ecobank Nigeria Ltd) as a Business Process Analyst. He quickly grew both in hierarchy and responsibility, first becoming the Head of the Continuous Process Improvement Unit and after that became the Head, Business Process Reengineering (BPR) department for Ecobank Nigeria, a position he held prior to joining Primera MFB.

While at Ecobank, Buchi established the Business Continuity System for its Nigeria operations and was a faculty member of the Ecobank Group Academy, Lome, where he facilitated various process improvement courses for employees across the banking group's 33 countries of operation in Africa. He also functioned as the Operations and Technology Lead on the Group's 'Road to Leadership' transformation programme at Ecobank Nigeria and was subsequently appointed as the Business Lead, Robotics Process Automation Implementation for the Ecobank Group.

Buchi is a graduate of Geology from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University and holds a Diploma in Strategic Management. He is a Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) - the 7th professional to attain that certification in Nigeria, a Project Management Practitioner (PMP), a Certified Change Management Practitioner (Prosci) and an Agile Project Delivery Manager. Buchi is a Fellow and Council Member of the Business Process Management Institute of Nigeria and he has attended several executive courses including the 4 Disciplines of Execution (4DX) and Creative Leadership.

He is currently the Chief Operations Officer of Koins Microfinance Bank Limited.
