Tia Honkanen

Tia Honkanen is an accomplished Lead UX/UI Designer at Kojamo Oyj since May 2022 and the Founder of Nearby.fi since September 2019, aimed at supporting small entrepreneurs and promoting local businesses. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior UX & UI Designer at DNA Oyj, Lead Designer and Senior Service Designer at Solteq Oyj, and User Experience Designer & Project Manager at Trimble and Fifth Element Oyj, where responsibilities focused on user needs and usability. Additional experience encompasses part-time teaching at the University of Helsinki, a Specialist position at Nokia, freelance graphic design work, and a marketing assistant role at Idea ja Tuotanto Wolt Oy. Tia holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Helsinki, along with a minor in Organization and Management and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Journalism, and Mass Communication. Tia also possesses a vocational qualification in Audio-Visual Communication and Graphic Design.
