Tara Hakiwai

Tara Hakiwai's work experience includes roles such as Business Director and Senior Producer at KOJO, where they worked on sports, entertainment, and experiential projects such as RWC 2021, FIFA WWC 2023 Draw, and NZR Teams in Black. Prior to that, Tara was a Director at Wolfcast New Zealand, a boutique event management and brand activation company specializing in the sports industry. Tara also served as a Director at Launch, a sports presentation and marketing company, and as a Production Manager at Pango Productions. Tara has held various managerial and executive positions in organizations such as Hutt City Council, Wellington Saints, Basketball New Zealand, Wellington Rugby, and Hurricanes.

Tara Hakiwai completed their primary education at Bledisloe Primary School from 1989 to 1995. Tara then attended Taradale Intermediate from 1996 to 1997. For their secondary education, they attended Napier Girls High School from 1998 to 2001. Tara went on to pursue a Bachelor of Commerce degree at Massey University from 2003 to 2006, with a focus on Business/Commerce, General.
