Jay Almquist

Jay Almquist started their work experience in 1994 as a Nuclear Machinist Mate in the US Navy, where they worked until 2000. Jay then joined Kokusai Semiconductor Equipment Corporation, where they worked in various roles including Field Service Engineer, Engineer in Charge, Systems Engineer, and Business Development Engineer. In these roles, they were responsible for managing technology improvement projects, providing pre-sales presentations, and acting as a key technical advisor for the sales team. Jay Almquist worked in their last role as a Business Development Engineer until at least May 2019.

Jay Almquist attended several educational institutions at different times in their life. In 1994 to 1996, they completed their graduate studies in Nuclear/Nuclear Power Technology/Technician at the Naval Nuclear Power School. Jay returned to school in 2019 at Central Arizona College, where they earned a couple of degrees: Automated Industrial Technology II and Automated Industrial Technology I. Jay graduated with an AAS in Automated Industrial Technology in 2021 from the same school. Jay Almquist is currently pursuing an Interdisciplinary Studies Bachelor's degree with a focus on Industrial Leadership at Northern Arizona University, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
