Miguel Prôa

Miguel Prôa, PhD, is a seasoned professional in life sciences with extensive experience in research, education, and editorial consulting. Currently serving as a Consultant at Kolabtree since January 2020, Miguel specializes in manuscript assessment, publication advice, and research coaching. Previous roles include a visiting professor at Aix-Marseille University, where teaching and consulting on Morphometrics and Anatomy were key responsibilities, and Museum Manager of Zoology at the Muséum des Sciences Naturelles d’Angers, managing collections and collaborating across departments. As a researcher, contributions were made at various institutions such as the Universidade de Coimbra and INRA French National Institute for Agricultural Research, focusing on vertebrate anatomy and evolutionary modeling with strong project management and public speaking skills. Miguel holds a PhD in Anatomical and Human Sciences from the University of York and a Licentiate degree in Biology from Universidade de Coimbra.
