Ian Gates

Ian Gates is a Founding Partner and Intellectual Property Attorney at Kolitch Romano Dascenzo Gates LLC. Prior to this, Ian was a Shareholder and Intellectual Property Attorney at DASCENZO GATES Intellectual Property Law, P.C. Ian also served as an Executive Committee Member, Secretary, Treasurer, and Chair at the Intellectual Property Section of the Oregon State Bar. Additionally, Ian has experience as a Test Engineer at Daimler Trucks North America and as a Law Clerk at the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Ian holds a J.D. cum laude in Intellectual Property from Lewis & Clark Law School and a BS with honors in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
