Barış Akardere

Barış Akardere is an experienced Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) manager currently working at dentsu international since October 2015, focusing on enhancing workplace diversity within dentsu Benelux. Alongside this role, Barış serves as an Internal Confidential Counsellor, offering support for workplace issues. In the music industry, Barış has operated as a composer and producer since 2009, collaborating on various projects, including film and advertising. Additionally, Barış is a music curator for clients such as The Social Hub and has held roles including Head of DEI at De School Amsterdam and consultant for N8 | Stichting Museumnacht Amsterdam. Barış holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Culture from the University of Amsterdam.
