Emily Yedinak, PhD, currently serves as a Technology Program Manager at Koloma, bringing expertise in energy technologies from previous experience as an ARPA-E Fellow. In this role, Emily identified new technological opportunities in the energy sector, coordinated significant educational programming at the ARPA-E Energy Summit, and contributed to writing transformative funding announcements. Prior to this, Emily hosted the Ideas at Scale podcast, highlighting academic research discussions. Emily holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Materials Science and Nanoengineering from Rice University, where research focused on converting methane to advanced carbon materials and hydrogen. Additional experiences include co-chairing a science communication conference and conducting research internships across various organizations.
