Umashankar Sase

Umashankar Sase has extensive experience in procurement and contracts, with a focus on the real estate and construction industries. Umashankar began their career as an Assistant Manager in Procurement and Contracts at Reliance Power Ltd., where they handled procurement for engineering, procurement, and construction projects. Umashankar also conducted competitive benchmarking assessments and developed sourcing strategies for steel procurement. In addition, Umashankar gained experience in market intelligence, financial analysis, and vendor evaluation.

Umashankar then moved on to the role of Assistant Manager in Program Management at Suzlon Group, where they focused on program management responsibilities.

Afterwards, Umashankar worked as a Category Lead in Procurement at LODHA Group, where they led procurement activities and managed vendor relationships.

Currently, Umashankar holds the position of Vice President in Procurement and Contracts at Kolte-Patil Developers Limited. Umashankar has held multiple positions within the company, starting as Deputy General Manager and progressing to their current role.

Umashankar Sase completed their B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University from 2003 to 2007. Later, they pursued an MBA in International Management from ESB Business School, Reutlingen University and a Global Management Program (GMP) in International Business from SPJIMR SP Jain Institute of Management & Research, both of which were completed from 2010 to 2011.
